DESIRED SKILLS

• Must have dog grooming City & Guilds Dog Grooming Level 2/3 qualification (or equivalent) or/and 1 year grooming experience  

• Have a good knowledge of dog breeds and dogs with different temperaments

• Be able to work as part of a team

• Good with managing time

• Good communication skills

• Friendly and reliable team player

DUTIES

• Washing and preparing dogs for grooming

• De-matting & brushing

• Ear /eye cleaning

• Hand drying

• Trimming and clipping

• Greeting clients and welcoming pets

• Cleaning and maintenance of the salon

• Answering phone calls and taking customers bookings

• Entering bookings into diary system and any other relevant tasks required by the manager
