COVID-19 GROOMING POLICY
Anybody self isolating, classed as vulnerable or showing any symptoms, MUST NOT under any circumstances attend a grooming appointment. Please follow the government`s current COVID-19 guidance.

Due to current Covid-19 pandemic the way in which we work and groom your dogs has changed dramatically. Whilst we will be adhering to the strictest guidelines to reduce the spread of the disease. It must be understood that clients wishing to have their dogs groomed at this time, do so at their own risk and must agree to the terms and conditions.

All dogs must arrive brushed/combed out as they must now be bathed immediately. We will try our best to maintain the desired style but any knotted or matted coats will be clipped short. Dogs requiring extensive extra work may incur an extra charge.

HANDOVER PROTOCOL
One customer in the salon at a time. Please do not enter the grooming area beyond the gate. On arrival all clients must follow all hygienic procedures put in place to minimize cross contamination. Please use our disinfecting spray (on reception desk) before this procedure:
Please attached your dog either to the hook securely fixed to our reception desk (using our own slip lead) or place him/her into the cage provided next to the entrance. Clients are now responsible for safety securing their own dog to our hook up system. All harness, collar, and leads must be removed and taken home.

DISINFECTING
All dogs will be bathed immediately using our natural shampoo
which contains lavender oil ( has antiseptic, antibacterial, antiviral and anti-fugal properties ).
Please use the antibacterial spay provided (it can be found on our reception desk)
before hooking up your dog or opening the cage door.
Door handles, slip leads, drop off hook, dog cage
and card payment machine will be disinfected after each use.
All of our staff members completed the COVID-19 training and test.

TIME KEEPING
Only one client permitted in the salon at a time.
Any dogs arriving late may have to re-booked and late fee will apply to cover loss of earnings. Uncollected dogs will be charged a sitting fee. Pick up and drop off times are specially important because of spacing out grooms for disinfecting purposes so please be on time.
PAYMENT
Payments can be made via PayPal (info@pawtique.co.uk), bank transfer prior to your appointment or by using our in-store contactless card machine (under £45).
We prefer contactless payment, however if you prefer to pay by cash, please make sure you bring the correct amount as no change is given now.
